I've been a huge fan of highlighting and contouring for a few years now and having been blown away by a fair few products for contour, it's only now that I've found a product that suits my highlighting needs.
MAC Prep & Prime Highlighter in Light Boost provides me with the perfect product to work to brighten and lighten areas of my face, with a true pale Yellow tone, which I personally like and find there is a lack of on the market. In a pen form, this brushes onto the face with lovely precision and with a little going a very long way, has fortunately lasted me four months so far, and is still going strong.
I tend to only use this over my make up for radiance and highlight, although it works perfectly well for through the day touch ups as well as to brighten and prime dark areas, especially the under eye area where you may have dark circles or dark inner corners. Applied with the pen style brush and blended out with either a damp Beauty Blender or a Real Techniques Expert Face Brush, I find this sits on my skin perfectly and isn't too heavy in the slightest, adding the perfect Yellow toned radiance to the areas I want a strong highlight (brow bone, down my nose, on top of my cheekbones, chin area, centre of my forehead).
Available in three shades, Light Boost definitely seems to be the most popular and has gone down a treat with other contour & highlighting fans like myself, but Radiance Rose and Bright Forecast are equally as lovely to use for more subtle, natural brightening.
If you're on the market for a paler, Yellow toned highlighter/brightening product, then I really can't recommend MAC Prep & Prime Highlighter in Light Boost enough. It does the job perfectly and is great if you're into creating Kim Kardashian cheekbones.
Available online and in MAC stores and counters in Debenhams, Selfridges and House of Fraser, MAC Prep & Prime Highlighters cost £18 for 3.6ml of product.
Are you a fan of contouring and highlighting? Do you have any yellow based highlighters?

This looks fantastic! I find it really hard to highlight my face as I am so fair but a yellow-tone is usually really good and I'd be happy to try this :) I also really like yellow based products and swear by Benefit's Lemon Aid as an eyelid primer, concealer and occasional highlighter!

I've tried and love the prep and prime highlighter in radiant rose. It looks beautiful in the under eye area as its slightly salmon coloured which helps to colour correct dark circles. I'll be trying out this colour too!
